what this fund supports

We want to help those who lost limbs in the Boston tragedy lead full and active lives. This fund will give individuals sport-specific prosthetic limbs so that they can run, dance, bike or swim again.

Many of the injured were athletes, runners and people whose very sense of self and quality of life was defined by being active. We want to fight with them to regain their active selves and continue to set and surpass their athletic and artistic goals...to be able to run, dance, swim or bike again. We at No Barriers believe in harnessing adversity and turning it into new strength. And we've helped many people, from wounded veterans to youth with missing limbs and other disabilities, continue to get outside, explore and be active.

We help people discover that what's within you is stronger than what's in your way.
